Events and Announcements

Spring is on it's way! We look forward to flying kites, growing plants and watching nature come alive!!
We are also excited to start our "Little House on the Prairie" unit!! We've got our log cabin, covered
wagon and little old schoolhouse all set up in our classroom! Soon we will enjoy making some crafts from pioneer days.
Our spring fun includes a visit to The Rose Theater to see the Berenstain Bears. We will also visit Papillion
Manor, have Family Math Night, Field Day and Hawaii Day this month. I'll try to post some pictures after these
events.
May activities include visits to the Lincoln Children's Museum, Sautter House and Portal School (a one-room schoolhouse
in Papillion and we'll spend the whole day there!), and Papillion Manor. We will also have Letter People Day and lead
chapel in May! We'll be plenty busy these next 2 months!
I'm just getting this website up and going so be sure to check back often for more ideas, news and photos.

In the News
Did you see Mrs. Trinklein and myself on the 100th Day of School?! The 100 year-old versions of both of us came to
school that day! We sure had lots of fun celebrating the 100th Day of School!
Let me know of any fun ideas that you had for the 100th Day of School! It's always fun to try new ideas!

What do you enjoy the most so far this school year or which event are you most looking forward to? Raising butterflies,
visiting Gifford Farm, visiting the Apple Orchard, Hawaii Day, Letter People Day, Family Math Night (Chocolate Makes You Smart!),
learning about Laura Ingalls Wilder, a day at Portal School, Lincoln Children's Museum, the 100th Day of School, learning
about penguins, "riding" in a covered wagon, or something I haven't mentioned?!
